Morgan and Zach's Picnic Point Engagement Session

I was so incredibly delighted when Zach and Morgan asked me to be their photographer for their wedding next year. Since I include engagement sessions with all of my packages, we did their engagement session this summer so they would have some great photos to announce the engagement.

I have known Zach since he was a baby and have watched him grow up. His older sister, Amanda, is my best friend! Over the years, I have photographed many of their family events including one of my first High School Senior Sessions. I won't tell you how long ago that was....

So, we all met over at Picnic Point here in Madison. The day was so perfect for photos. I have always loved photographing friends and family because there is a special way that they play to the camera. The way Morgan and Zach interacted with each other was so relaxed and perfect. What a sweet couple!

Silvia and Diego | Overture Center Wedding | Madison, WI Wedding

Silvia and Diego were married on April 11th at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Madison, WI. Heidi and I began photography at the fantastic Madison Concourse Hotel with both the bride and groom getting ready in their separate suites. If you haven't seen the new renovations there, you should absolutely check it out.  Wow! And the hair and make up by the ladies from Arch Apothecary downtown was amazing!

The ceremony was a full Catholic mass followed by family photos and then a fun trip to the Monona Terrace. I captured as many classic angles as I could think of so they could always remember their time in Madison as they will be moving out of the country after the wedding. Then, we went to the Overture Center to kick off the wedding reception.  The cocktail hour was so much fun! Everyone just kept coming up with great big smiles and made my job so easy! We had time to capture some images around the Overture including photos in the Promenade Lounge, Rotunda as well as up above the Main Lobby.
